Amit is an IBBI Registered Valuer and heads the Valuation Advisory team at Armslength. He is an alumni of India's biggest valuation team at one of the world’s Big4 consulting firm “Ernst & Young”. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and bachelor in law (LLB) from prestigious Law Centre-I of Law Faculty of University of Delhi. Amit has over 18 years of exposure and hands on experience in dealing with nitty-gritty of valuation of businesses/ equity for private ventures as well as for public enterprises for purposes like Transactions - Sale or Purchase, Compliances - FEMA, Transfer Pricing or requirement of RBI, Indirect Transfers, Valuation of financial instruments/ derivatives like SOP & ESOPs, preference shares, debentures etc., valuation of real properties and intangible assets like Brand, copyright, customer contract, customer relation etc. He has served several reputed multinational corporations and offshore consulting firms. After spending his formative days with a leading firm of chartered Accountants and multinational companies, his valuation skill were sharpened with India's biggest valuation team at one of the world’s Big4 consulting firm Ernst & Young. Amit is also a visiting faculty at School of Finance, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, run by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. He is also director at International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists (IACVS) India Chapter.
